Student of BSPU Becomes Lviv Regional Powerlifting Champion and Achieves the Candidate Master of Sports Standard

We are proud of your achievement and wish you new sporting successes! A brilliant performance by a BSPU student at the Lviv Regional Powerlifting Championship!

On February 14–15, the Lviv Regional Classic Powerlifting Championship among boys and girls, junior men and women took place in the town of Velykyi Liubin. The competition was dedicated to the memory of Yurii Luchechko, a soldier of the Azov Regiment and an athlete who died defending Mariupol.

At this competition, the pride of the university community, Nadiia Chervyachenko, a first-year student majoring in “Secondary Education (Physical Education),” demonstrated an outstanding result.

In a highly competitive contest, Nadiia:

• won the gold medal in the 63 kg weight category
• took 1st place in the overall junior women’s ranking;
• exceeded the Candidate Master of Sports of Ukraine (CMS) standard by achieving a total of 327.5 kg (with the required standard being 317.5 kg).

The athlete trains at the Youth Sports School named after Yu. Kutenko under the guidance of coach Ivan Seletskyi.

This achievement is not only a significant sporting victory but also confirmation of the high level of training of BSPU students, their perseverance, willpower, and professional growth.
