Triumph of choreographic excellence: the grand prix in BDPU’s treasury

A first-year (Bachelor’s level) student majoring in Specialty 024 Choreography Alina Shyp showcased her skills at the International Multi-Genre Festival-Competition «Star Drive» held in the city of Zaporizhzhia in an offline format, and won the highest award – the Grand Prix.

Alina is a member of the Folk Amateur Collective of Trade Unions of Ukraine – the pop dance ensemble «MarLen» of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University. Her performance became a vivid confirmation of her high level of professional training, creative individuality, and stage culture, developed through persistent effort, systematic study, and active participation in the university’s artistic life.

The competition piece was staged by Nataliia Kryvun – horeographer of the «MarLen» ensemble and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Choreography and Fitness at BDPU.

The festival-competition «Star Drive» brought together talented groups from the city of Zaporizhzhia, serving as a platform for creative growth, exchange of experience, and inspiration. Winning the Grand Prix is a significant achievement both for Alina and for the university’s artistic community.
