How can we maintain inner balance in times of uncertainty? How can we support students when challenges arise every day and personal resources are not always evident? These very questions became the focus of the workshop held within the activities of the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts of BSPU.
The initiator and speaker of the event was Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy Nadiia Dira. In her presentation, she outlined the contemporary challenges faced by students: martial law, emotional instability, and information overload. It is important for educators not only to be aware of these challenges and their impact on youth but also to have the tools of support – both for students and for themselves.
The participants explored the concept of «psychological resilience», familiarized themselves with its key components, and actively engaged in the interactive part of the event. In a joint dialogue, they sought answers to important questions – what helps to remain resilient in difficult life circumstances and how an educator can support students without losing their own resources.
The speaker shared practices of pedagogical support that can become part of daily educational interaction. Their goal is to create a space where learning is combined with care and emotional stability.
We sincerely thank everyone for their openness, empathy, and willingness to build an educational environment where there is space for support, trust, and strength.
New meetings and inspiring topics lie ahead. The Council of Young Scientists of the FPPEA continues to work to ensure that the academic environment is not only intellectual but also vibrant – one that inspires, unites, and supports.
