On the 10th of September a new season of BSPU’s “Literary Guide” opened. The first event of the guide, conducted via Zoom conference, was met with great enthusiasm amongst the university community. The topic «Me — at the University. Academic life in novels, memoirs, fantasy and horror stories» did not disappoint fiction lovers.

Iryna Filon, library’s associate, introduced the audience to bright examples of campus novel genre in Ukrainian literature and worldwide. David Lodge’s satirical novel about university teacher’s harsh life, teenage diary of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy’s BA student Anastasiya Levkova, twisted “ancient” thriller by Donna Tartt, detective story about investigation in Oxford by Dorothy Sayers, Antonia Byatt’s most famous “philological” novel about romance.

All these books and many others were subjects of the first “Guide”.
