Finish for the Sake of a New Start: The BPU Team Successfully Completed the Academic Leadership Development Programme

Yesterday, on September 19, the team from Berdyansk State Pedagogical University took part in the International Online Conference, which marked the final milestone of the first cycle of the Academic Leadership Development Programme held within the framework of the World Bank’s “Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project” (UIHERP).

First Vice-Rector Dr. Olha HURENKO gave a compelling presentation of our university’s Institutional Change Project, outlining strategic development priorities for our relocated university, which continues to operate successfully in the format of a “university without walls”. Core ideas such as barrier-free access, powerful digital transformation, international partnerships, and new science directions focused on community needs became the foundation of BSPU’s vision for the near future.

Our team – Olha HURENKO, Maryna BOHDANOVA, Yevheniia LYNDINA, Vitalii HNATIUK, and Maryna NESTERENKO – received warm support and high praise from programme consultants, experts, and colleagues from other universities.

It was especially rewarding to hear that our flexible and innovative development experience under relocation conditions has earned genuine admiration and respect from fellow participants.

Ahead of us lies the implementation of our change project and the everyday teamwork necessary for the sustainable development of our university.
