The 1st International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Art Education: Theory, Methodology, Practice”

On October 30–31, 2025, the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Art Disciplines hosted the 1st International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Art Education: Theory, Methodology, Practice.”

Conference topics:

• Art education in the context of European integration, globalization, and multiculturalism
• Art education in Ukraine during wartime
• Modern technologies and methodological approaches in art education
• History and traditions of art education in Ukraine

Welcome speeches were delivered by:

Ihor Bohdanov, Rector of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine;

Anzhelika Lesyk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University;

Olena Buzova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Art Disciplines, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.

The conference brought together 78 participants from Ukraine and abroad. The scholars represented Kyiv, Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernihiv, Nizhyn, Rivne, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro — our proud and heroic cities.

We sincerely thank the teachers, academic supervisors, and students who continue their dedicated work under shelling and in bomb shelters. Amid explosions, air raid alarms, and blackouts, they prepared their reports. We admire your courage, enthusiasm, and resilience!

Insightful and engaging research and methodological presentations, lively discussions, and dialogues fostered a creative atmosphere, collaboration, and spiritual unity among the conference participants.
