BSPU students among the best: winners of the Student of the Year competition awarded in Zaporizhzhia

On November 14, Zaporizhzhia hosted a ceremony to award the winners of the regional stage of the Student of the Year competition, an annual initiative that recognizes the most active, talented, and dedicated students of higher education institutions in the Zaporizhzhia region. The ceremony brought together young people who, through their work, creativity, and community involvement, make a significant contribution to the development of student life and the regional community.

Among the winners were students from Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, who once again demonstrated a high level of professional and personal achievement.

In the prestigious “Student Artist of the Year” category, Nazar Merzlikin, a student at the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts, won a confident victory. His creative skills, stage charisma, and active participation in artistic projects at the university, city, and country level were convincing evidence of his talent, which was duly appreciated by the competition jury.

Maksym Shendler, a student at the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education, won the “Student Defender of the Year” award. For his combat merits, Maksym was awarded the Order “For Courage,” which is given to military personnel for heroism in the performance of military duty in combat conditions.
