Ukraine’s integration into the European educational and scientific community involves enhancing the competitiveness of the national scientific and educational environment, exchanging innovative practices, and sharing experience in the fields of education and science. In the context of European integration, internal academic mobility ensures the quality of education, creates a space for professional growth, promotes cooperation and dialogue, broadens worldviews, fosters the development of artistic and creative communication skills, effective interaction within the academic environment, and supports the professional self-realization of future specialists.
For art education, internal academic mobility is of particular value, as it combines pedagogical, research, and performance components in the training of future professionals. It is within such an integrated format that a modern music teacher is formed — a professional capable not only of transmitting knowledge, but also of organizing creative processes, inspiring students, carrying out artistic and pedagogical reflection, and continuously improving their own performance skills.
Academic mobility of higher education students of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Art Disciplines is an important stage in the professional development of students of the educational program “Art. Musical Art.” Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students completed their studies on the basis of the Khmelnytskyi Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy.
On February 28, 2026, the final stage of internal academic mobility took place — the V All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Professional Growth of Youth: Ideas, Trajectories, Prospects.”
As a component of the individual internal academic mobility program, the conference was held in the format of the educational project “Synergy of Traditions and Innovations in the Contemporary Art Space: Pedagogical and Performance Aspects.” The project aimed to expand theoretical knowledge, develop research and practical competencies, master modern pedagogical and artistic methodologies, and form academic communication skills among higher education students.
Participation in the scientific and practical conference contributed to:
• the development of academic writing skills and public presentation of research results;
• the enhancement of academic mobility and inter-university cooperation;
• awareness of individual professional trajectories;
• integration of student research into the contemporary educational and cultural space of Ukraine.
Interesting and substantive presentations were delivered by first-year students of the second (Master’s) level of higher education, specialty A4.13 Secondary Education (Art. Musical Art) of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University — Olena Kaliberda and Iryna Hlazunova.
The presentation by Olena Kaliberda was titled “Project-Based Activities in the Development of Musical and Creative Abilities of Primary School Students.”
