On January 29, 2026, faculty members of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University (Kateryna Lemish, Olena Tokarenko, Viktoriia Shvachko) participated in the professional webinar for researchers “Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Publications: Scopus Requirements and Academic Integrity in 2026”, organized by the Scientific and Educational Center of the company “Scientific Publications”. The webinar was devoted to current issues related to the use of artificial intelligence tools in academic activities.

During the event, participants discussed modern approaches to applying AI in the preparation of scientific publications, new and anticipated requirements of the Scopus database, and key aspects of ensuring academic integrity in the context of the active implementation of digital technologies in research.

The webinar was delivered by Anastasiia Zuieva and Alina Pomin, who shared practical recommendations on the ethical and correct use of AI tools, common author mistakes, and risks of violating academic integrity when preparing publications for international indexed journals.

Participation of the department’s faculty members in such professional events contributes to enhancing the quality of scientific research, updating methodological approaches to publication activities, and promoting responsible and ethical use of modern digital tools in academic work.
