On January 30, 2026, an important event aimed at strengthening mental health and supporting professional development took place for students of the Faculty of Social and Humanities Studies. An online training session titled “Everyday Resilience Techniques” was held, bringing together higher education students enrolled in the programs A4 Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature). Resilience Practices and A4 Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature). Practical Psychology.

The initiative was led by Hanna Aleksandrova, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature and Comparative Literary Studies, and guarantor of the educational and professional program “Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature). Resilience Practices.” Organizing such an event in today’s realities is extremely relevant, as the ability to maintain inner balance and personal resourcefulness is the foundation not only of individual well-being but also of future pedagogical excellence.

The speakers and mentors of the training were experienced specialists from the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts — senior lecturers Hanna Lysak and Viktoriia Deviatko. The program was intensive and strongly practice-oriented. Students had the opportunity to explore and personally experience effective self-regulation methods and grounding techniques that help restore emotional balance in stressful situations.

Special attention was paid to body-based practices and exercises aimed at relieving muscular and psychological tension, which are critically important for preventing emotional burnout.

This meeting had not only a therapeutic effect but also deep professional significance. The resilience tools acquired during the training will become a valuable asset in the future professional practice of the graduates, enabling them to create a safe and supportive environment for their pupils. Thus, the event contributed both to the personal growth of each participant and to improving the quality of training of specialists capable of confidently responding to the challenges of our time.
