Mykhailo Besieda, a master’s student of group M1-FCS A7, part-time form of study, at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Human Health, is an example of professionalism, perseverance, and dedication to his chosen field.
Mykhailo works as a Kyokushin Karate coach at the Okinawa Club, which is part of the Kyokushinkai Karate Federation of the city of Dnipro of the National Kyokushin Karate Federation of Ukraine. He is a Master of Sports of Ukraine in Kyokushin Karate and holds a second-degree black belt (2nd Dan).

Among his students are Candidates for Master of Sports of Ukraine, and one of them has already fulfilled the requirements for the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine.
Another confirmation of his effective coaching came at the Ukrainian Kyokushin Karate Championship, which took place on April 4, 2026, in Dnipro. As a result of the competition, his students won 4 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
The team also showed strong results at the European Kyokushin Karate Championship, held on May 24–25, 2025, in Warsaw, Poland, where two of Mykhailo’s students won bronze medals.
A new important challenge lies ahead: on May 16–17, 2026, the team will travel to the European Championship to be held in Varna, Bulgaria
