Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, specifically the Faculty of Technology and Design, has been organizing All-Ukrainian competitions in decorative and applied arts and artistic creativity for several consecutive years.

Our students of the “Secondary Education: Technology” educational program have been regular participants in these events for three years now.

During the current 2025–2026 academic year, a student team under the supervision of Yuliia Bielova-Oleinyk, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Vocational Education and Technology, participated in the All-Ukrainian Decorative and Applied Arts Competition “New Year’s Ornament 2025” and the All-Ukrainian Artistic Creativity Competition “Pysanka Rainbow 2026.”

The first competition took place from December 10 to December 22, 2025. During this period, 319 young designers from all over Ukraine submitted their projects, including 9 of our students. The organizing committee announced three categories, and in two of them, BSPU emerged as the winner!

The second competition was held from April 1 to April 12, 2026, with 512 creative projects submitted from across the country. And we are delighted to announce that we secured first place in three out of five categories! The winners were Kateryna Tkach (3T-z), Kristina Vasylynets (3T-z), and Olena Tytar (3T).

Second-degree diplomas were awarded to two students of our faculty — Valeriia Kurochka (3T) and Oleksandr Yaropovetskyi (3T).

Even our five debutants: Tamila Varha (3T-z), Anastasiia Artomova (s1T), Sofiia Dmukhailo (1T), Yevhen Krasnoshchok (1T), and Snizhana Sanina received third-degree diplomas, which testifies to the strong professional training of future specialists provided by the Department of Vocational Education and Technology and the talent of our students.

We congratulate and are proud of our winners!

Yuliia Bielova-Oleinyk PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Vocational Education and Technology
