Stakeholder guest lecture for students of the “Professional Education: Energy, Energy Efficiency, and Energy Conservation” program

On April 27, 2026, a guest lecture was held for first-cycle (Bachelor’s) students, delivered by Alla Miiuts, Head of the Consumer Contracts Unit Group at JSC “Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo”. The lecture focused on the topic: “Conclusion of Consumer Agreements for Electricity Distribution Services” for students of the “Professional Education: Energy, Energy Efficiency, and Energy Conservation” program.

Alla introduced the audience to the transformation of the modern electricity market in Ukraine, its key participants, prices, and tariffs. Significant attention was paid to the specifics of calculating electricity metering devices. Information regarding the development of the electricity distribution point passport proved to be particularly engaging and relevant.

The session covered practical cases on the procedure for concluding electricity distribution agreements for various categories of consumers in cases of: new connections; change of ownership; modification of technical parameters.

The lecture featured a lively and active discussion, during which students received comprehensive answers to their questions.
