Work with prospective applicants is an important component of the success of any admission campaign. In this context, the academic staff of the Department of Social Work and Inclusive Education initiated a presentation of educational and professional programs in Specialty I10 Social Work and Counseling at the first (Bachelor’s) and second (Master’s) levels of higher education. The event was organized for prospective applicants, including future graduates of general secondary education institutions, fellow educators, and practitioners in the field of social work.
The presentation took place on March 23 in an online format with the participation of the guarantors of the educational and professional programs.
During the presentation meeting, prospective applicants had the opportunity to learn about the history of development, content, features, and advantages of each educational and professional program, as well as to communicate with members of the academic staff who will be involved in their implementation. Particular attention was paid to the relevance of the current educational and professional programs (EPP “Social Work and Social Pedagogy,” EPP “Socio-Psychological Support of Resilience” — first (Bachelor’s) level of higher education; EPP “Social Pedagogy,” EPP “Post-War Socio-Psychological Reintegration” — second (Master’s) level of higher education) in the context of today’s challenges, post-war recovery, and peacebuilding.
Participants of the event received detailed information about the specifics of admission to higher education institutions in 2026, the procedures for entrance examinations, as well as opportunities to study under the voucher-based program.
The practice of organizing such presentation meetings has already become a tradition for the Department of Social Work and Inclusive Education, as it enables prospective applicants, even at the stage of choosing a higher education institution, to learn about the advantages and prospects of studying at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, particularly in Specialty I10 Social Work and Counseling. It also contributes to the development of a professional culture among future specialists, helping them experience the openness of the university and its academic staff, as well as their readiness to support, motivate, and inspire students on their path to professional growth and development.
