From knowledge to profession: final attestation of students of the educational and professional programme “Finance, banking and insurance”

On June 2 and June 17, 2026, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University held the final attestation of first-cycle (Bachelor’s) higher education students enrolled in the Educational and Professional Programme “Finance, Banking and Insurance” in both part-time and full-time modes of study.

The final attestation was conducted in the form of a comprehensive attestation examination aimed at assessing the level of professional competencies acquired by students throughout their studies under the educational programme.

The Examination Board was chaired by Olena Tokarenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD in Economics), Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance. The members of the Board included Liudmyla Zavidna, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Hanna Kostenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD in Economics), Associate Professor.

During the examination, students demonstrated solid knowledge of key issues related to the functioning of the financial and budgetary systems, banking activities, insurance, taxation, corporate finance, financial analysis, and investment processes. The prospective specialists successfully answered theoretical questions and completed analytical and calculation-based tasks, confirming their ability to apply acquired knowledge to solving practical professional problems.

The examination results confirmed a sufficient level of students’ professional training, their readiness for professional activity in the fields of finance, banking and insurance, as well as their ability to analyse economic processes, make well-grounded managerial decisions, and effectively use modern financial instruments.
