On 2 April 2026, the Department of Social Work and Inclusive Education at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University held a focus group discussion on the draft educational and professional programme “Post-War Psychosocial Reintegration” in specialty I10 “Social Work and Counselling.”
The meeting brought together nine representatives of the academic community from Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University, and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The discussion was moderated by Anastasiia Popova, Academic Programme Coordinator.
The participants analysed the programme’s aim and focus, the description of the subject area, competencies and programme learning outcomes, the list and content of educational components, the programme structure and course sequence, curriculum mapping matrices, the form of final assessment, and graduates’ employment opportunities.
As a result of the meeting, proposals were developed to clarify the professional orientation of the educational components, refine the list of competencies and learning outcomes, strengthen foreign-language training, and establish the public defence of the master’s thesis as the sole form of final assessment. The participants’ recommendations became an important contribution to the further improvement of the educational programme.
