AI for Community Leaders: From Digital Skills to Effective Decisions

On October 14, 2026, Berdiansk State Pedagogical University launched a training course for the leaders of relocated territorial communities of the Berdiansk district, dedicated to the practical application of artificial intelligence services in professional activities.

How to use AI to optimize workflows, prepare documents, analyze information, and find effective management decisions? These are precisely the practical opportunities opened up by the training, which is designed to strengthen the digital capacity of community leaders.

The course was initiated by Oleksii Bakai, Head of the Berdiansk District State Administration, as a continuation of the successful experience of the “AI & Digital Skills for Employment and Entrepreneurship” training held at BSPU in July 2026 under the Rebuild Skills Lab project, aimed at the professional reintegration of veterans and the restoration of Ukraine’s human capital.

For BSPU, this initiative is more than just a training course. It is the realization of the university’s third mission—service to the community, partnership for development, and a response to the pressing needs of society.

At the same time, this activity contributes to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in particular, SDG 4 “Quality Education”, SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth”, and SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals”.

After all, digital transformation begins not just with technology, but primarily with people who are ready to learn, change, and implement new solutions.

AI does not replace a leader. It expands their capabilities to act more effectively, boldly, and visionary!
