The rapid development of generative artificial intelligence opens up new horizons for higher education and encourages the academic community to embrace flexibility and continuous professional development. In response to modern challenges, faculty members from the Department of Psychology (Faculty of PPOM) – Professor Liubov Spivak, Senior Lecturers Hanna Lysak, Viktoriia Fedoryk and Yurii Dudnyk, and Assistant Kateryna Saprankovа – successfully completed the professional development course «Educational Practices in the Age of AI», offered by the NGO «Prohresylni».
Enhancing the digital competence of educators enables the integration of advanced technologies into educational and research processes, significantly improving the quality of professional training for future psychologists. Incorporating AI tools into instruction fosters the development of students’ digital and research competencies by streamlining source retrieval and data analysis; furthermore, it cultivates critical thinking and academic integrity by developing information verification skills and an understanding of the ethical boundaries regarding technology use in psychological practice. Furthermore, the use of interactive formats (such as generative design sessions, simulation-based case studies, etc.) enhances the practical orientation of the training, making it dynamic and aligned with modern labor market demands.
We express our sincere gratitude to the «Prohresylni» NGO community for creating a high-quality, profound, and inspiring educational space!
