BDPU Student Wins a Prize at the Ukrainian Classic Powerlifting Championship

From April 18 to 26, 2026, the Ukrainian Classic Powerlifting Championship among boys and girls, juniors and junior women was held in Kolomyia.

A student of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Human Health of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, group SFK1, Nadiia Cherviachenko, took part in the competition.

Nadiia competed among junior women in the weight category up to 63 kg and demonstrated a high level of sports training, perseverance, and strength of character.

According to the results of the competition, the athlete achieved the following results:

Squat — 3rd place, 130 kg;
Bench press — 4th place, 55 kg;
Deadlift — 1st place, 145 kg;
Total — 330 kg, 3rd place.

We sincerely congratulate Nadiia Cherviachenko on her successful performance at the Ukrainian Championship and wish her further sporting achievements, new records, and confident professional growth.
