On June 12, the results of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition “Information and Communication Technologies in Education”, organized by Bohdan Khmelnytsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University, were officially announced. According to the comprehensive expert evaluation of the submitted research papers, Yevhenii Pokhvalit, a first-year master’s student at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, Computer and Technological Education of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, was awarded First Prize.

The competition entry, entitled “An Adaptive Microservice-Based Web Platform with an AI Mentor for Personalized Python Learning,” was prepared under the academic supervision of Liliia Vasylivna Pavlenko, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

The research addresses one of the most relevant challenges in contemporary education—the application of artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the training of future IT professionals. The paper presents the concept of an adaptive web platform that integrates cloud technologies, an interactive programming code visualization environment, and an intelligent AI mentor designed to support students’ individualized learning pathways.

A distinctive feature of the proposed platform is its educational approach, in which artificial intelligence does not provide ready-made programming solutions but instead serves as an intelligent mentor. It guides students in identifying and correcting their own mistakes, analyzing algorithms, and developing critical thinking skills. This approach contributes to the formation of key professional competencies of future software developers and aligns with current trends in the advancement of digital education.

We sincerely congratulate Yevhenii Pokhvalit and his academic supervisor, Liliia Vasylivna Pavlenko, on this remarkable achievement and wish them continued success in their research, the realization of new innovative ideas, and further professional accomplishments!
