From April 5 to 11, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University held its traditional Easter Toloka. The week was packed with engaging lecture-presentations, trainings, quizzes, and masterclasses. Events took place both online and offline, allowing a larger number of students, teachers, and staff members to join.
The week was full of various offline events in different parts of Ukraine. In Kyiv, at the “Ornament in the Palms” workshop-meeting, teachers and students learned how to create stop-motion animations under the guidance of Alla Melnychuk, an assistant at the Department of Social Work and Inclusive Education of the Faculty of Preschool, Special, and Social Education. In Zaporizhzhia, Olga Kacherova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Primary Education of the Faculty of Psychological and Primary Education and Arts, conducted an original masterclass on creating a unique holiday attribute using modern decorating techniques called “Art-Decor: Magic of Spring Flowers.” In Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Zaporizhzhia, a scheduled run combined with cleaning in safe areas, “EcoPlogging: Synergy of Art and Sport,” also took place, organized by the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports, and Human Health.
The online event program included a Literary Guide “The Light of Narnia: Christian Motifs in the Works of C.S. Lewis” by Iryna Filon, head of the BSPU library service department; masterclasses in Petrykivka painting by Yuliia Bielova-Oleinyk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Professional Education and Technologies of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, Computer, and Technological Education, and Kateryna Tkach, a 3rd-year student; a webinar “Easter Traditions of Ukraine: Regional Diversity, Symbolism” by Valentyna Shkola, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature and Comparative Literature; and an interesting event “Special Operation: Easter Bunny with Pepperoni” by the BSPU Student Council.
In addition, the “StudMedia” YouTube channel presented exhibitions of creative works by students of the Technology specialty, “Easter Kaleidoscope,” and a floristry masterclass, “Easter Beauty.”
As always, during the Easter Toloka, the university was immersed in a warm atmosphere; participants gathered together, talked, were inspired by new ideas for creating Easter decor, and simply rested their souls. We thank the organizers and all participants for the atmosphere of inspiration, cooperation, and warmth!
