On February 27, 2026, an extended meeting of Department No. 7 of Theory and Methods of Sport of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Culture of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko and the Department of Physical Culture, Sport and Teaching Methods of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University was held.

The meeting took place online and was dedicated to the implementation of the academic mobility program for students within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the universities.

The meeting was attended by:

  • Diana Valeriivna Bermudes, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Sport, Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko;
  • Nataliia Mykolaivna Polishchuk, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sport and Teaching Methods, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University;

academic and teaching staff of both departments.

The participants actively engaged in discussing organizational, educational-methodological, and regulatory aspects of implementing academic mobility, particularly issues related to the recognition of educational components, individual study plans of students, and quality assurance of the educational process.

A key issue was the nomination of Bachelor’s degree students of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sport” to participate in the academic mobility program at Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko.

The guarantor of the educational program, Liudmyla Oleksandrivna Konovalska, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture, Sport and Teaching Methods, Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work, presented a detailed justification for student participation in the mobility program. The presentation emphasized:

  • compliance of the educational programs with the Higher Education Standard;
  • alignment of curricula;
  • development of professional competencies of future specialists;
  • expansion of students’ academic and professional mobility.

Fourth-year students of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sport” — Serhii Oholiuk and Alina Kartashova — were recommended for participation in the academic mobility program. The students have been informed about the study conditions, organizational requirements, and academic obligations.

As a result of the extended meeting, a decision was made to send Bachelor’s degree students of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sport” — Serhii Oholiuk and Alina Kartashova — to Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko to participate in the academic mobility program. The departments will provide organizational and educational-methodological support to the students, as well as further coordination of interdepartmental cooperation within the framework of the partnership agreement.
