BSPU library staff workers were invited by public ogranization “Zakhyst Derzhavy” to deliver a presentation on contemporary literature and literary fiction for internally dispaced persons in Ostroh.

The topic, namely historical literature, science fiction, and veteran literature, was suggested by previously conducted opinion poll. Iryna Filon, the head of library’s service department, presented historical researches by Norman Davis and Serhii Plokhy, prose pieces by Vasyl Shkliar, David Mitchell, Kate Atkinson. “The Three Body Problem” by Liu Cixin and “Colony” by Max Kidruk truly drew attention of the audience.

The event has been met with great enthusiasm from the audience, following events are to be expected.
