Modern primary education is a dynamic space where innovations open up new opportunities for young learners. One of the key trends is STEM education, which integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, helping children of primary school age to explore, think creatively, and apply knowledge in practice.
Considering that the mathematical educational field is an integral part of STEM, students of the 013 Primary Education specialty, within the framework of the educational component «Methods of Teaching the Mathematical Educational Field in Primary School» (senior lecturer Tetiana Mukhina), joined the All-Ukrainian webinar «STEM Start: What the Formula for Success Looks Like».
During the event, future teachers had the opportunity to communicate with STEM experts and learn from the practical experience of teachers implementing this approach. The participants received simple and effective solutions for organizing STEM classes, examples of experiments for grades 1–4, as well as advice on how to help children perceive new material without stress and with genuine interest. In addition, the webinar featured a presentation of the «STEM Start» course by the «Ranok» publishing house, which includes ready-made calendar-thematic plans, methodological materials, and workbooks.
Events of this format provide not only an opportunity to broaden professional horizons but also a real chance to learn how to combine theory with practice. Such experience helps future primary school teachers to be prepared for the introduction of innovations and to develop true pedagogical mastery.
As a result, the participants received certificates and fresh, creative ideas for their future professional activity . Together, we are opening new opportunities for modern education! 💙💛
