We open the doors of the method office: a meeting of masters of preschool education with a practitioner.

On September 25, 2025, a meeting was held between applicants for the second (master’s) level of the specialty A2 “Preschool Education” with the educator-methodologist of the municipal preschool education institution (child development center) No. 392 of the Dnipro City Council, Natalia Gorovenko, on the occasion of the celebration of Preschool Day.

In a lively discussion, the content of the managerial functions of planning, organization, and control in the activities of a teacher-methodologist was discussed, as well as how the social mission of a preschool educational institution is formulated, its philosophy developed, and its goal defined. The speaker paid special attention to the organization of experimental and research work in a preschool educational institution.

We discussed with students the components of the professional competence of a teacher-methodologist. The moderator of the meeting, Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Education Alla Omelyanenko, directed numerous questions from the audience about the organization of educational work with preschool children, the features of compiling a schedule of classes by age group.

The guest of the event generously shared professional advice on the use of interactive forms of methodological support for educational activities in a preschool educational institution. I focused on the methodological aspects of preparing for the “Preschool Universe” competition, which takes place annually on the eve of Ukrainian Preschool Day. Natalia Gorovenko wished future preschool education specialists successful management, good governance, and productive joint work.

Alla Omelyanenko, in her closing remarks, noted that the Department of Preschool Education, headed by Head Iryna Ulyukaeva, wishes applicants of the A2 Preschool Education educational and professional program to have the opportunity to work with little preschoolers who will make your life bright and interesting. Thanks to cooperation with preschool education practitioners, future graduates will be competitive specialists ready for the development of Ukrainian preschool.
