An important event took place at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, Computer and Technology Education – the first stage of the annual «Student of the Year» competition. The event brought together the most active and talented students, ready to demonstrate their achievements in academics, research, and community service.
The contestants presented their accomplishments from the past year, sharing the results of their hard work and completed projects. Each presentation testified to the high potential and dedication of the faculty’s youth.
The Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Viktoriia ZHYHIR, addressed the participants with a welcoming and inspiring speech. She emphasized the importance of having an active approach to life and wished the contestants to never stop at what they have achieved, but to confidently step towards new accomplishments.
After the presentations, a vote was held, and the winners of the first stage were determined. They are:
Daria TONKYKH, a first-level (Bachelor’s) degree student of group 2 Ma, won in the nomination «Student Community Activist of the Year».
Daryna NEMCHENKO, a second-level (Master’s) degree student of groups m2ts and m2ma, was recognized as the best in the nomination «Student Public Figure of the Year».
Oleksandr MEDVEDENKO, a first-level (Bachelor’s) degree student of group 4 fi, won in the nomination «Student Scientist of the Year».
The faculty community sincerely congratulates the winners, who are the true pride of the faculty. The next, university-wide stage of the competition awaits them. We wish them further success and to represent our faculty with dignity at the new level!
