A second-level (Master’s) student of the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education, Oleksandra Delichoban, proudly represented Berdyansk State Pedagogical University at the educational online festival “Student Jam – 2025,” organized by Kherson National Technical University.
Within the framework of the festival, Oleksandra delivered a presentation on a highly relevant topic: “Digital Speech Therapist: How Modern Technologies Help Children with SEN Start Speaking.” Her scientific supervisor is Daryna Lytvychenko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Applied Psychology and Speech Therapy.
Oleksandra’s presentation received positive feedback from participants and sparked considerable interest among the festival audience. She highlighted the key features of Special Education (Speech Therapy) — specialty A6, demonstrating how multifaceted, responsible and at the same time creative the work of future speech therapists truly is. She emphasized the importance of developing professional competencies, mastering modern digital tools and being prepared for the challenges faced by specialists in contemporary education.
The speaker paid special attention to practical recommendations for improving speech. She shared simple, effective and highly valuable tips that help enhance speech development in both children with special educational needs and adults.
Oleksandra also revealed her strategies for creating modern and visually appealing presentations for speech therapy sessions. She discussed how to properly structure content, choose visual accents, use animations, and which digital resources are worth implementing to make each session engaging, interactive and tailored to the needs of children.
The Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education of BSPU is proud of the activity, professionalism and continuous development of its students, who represent the university at the national level and make a significant contribution to the advancement of modern speech therapy in Ukraine.
