The participation of stakeholders in the improvement of educational and professional programs is a guarantee of their compliance with the trends of modern education and the needs of the labor market.

On March 26-27, 2026, the Department of Biology, Human Health and Physical Rehabilitation of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University held meetings with employers of the OPP “Secondary Education. Biology and Human Health” at the Master’s level.

The discussions were joined by Tetyana Furmanova, head of the education department of the executive committee of the Berdyansk City Council; Natalia Volkova, director of the Berdyansk Gymnasium “Leader” of the Berdyansk City Council of the Zaporizhia region; Natalia Teslenko, director of the First Kramatorsk Lyceum of the Kramatorsk City Council; Victoria Shlyakhova, director of the Novooleksandrivska Gymnasium of the Novooleksandrivska Village Council of the Zaporizhia district of the Zaporizhia region; Oksana Lomtieva, teacher of special environmental disciplines of the Dnipro Industrial Vocational College, head of the cycle commission of ecological, biological and chemical disciplines; Yana Hoftarchuk, biology teacher of the highest category of the municipal institution “Ocheretinsky educational complex: general education school of I-III levels with in-depth study of individual subjects and courses – preschool educational institution (supporting educational institution)” of the Ocheretinsky settlement VCA of the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region; Tamara Skrypnyk, biology teacher of the first category of the Plesen gymnasium of the Shepetivka city council of the Khmelnytsky region.

The situation on the labor market, the expediency of assigning professional qualifications, and the requirements of employers for the level of preparedness of graduates were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of general and professional competencies acquired by graduates of the educational and professional program and their correlation with professional standards. The balanced structure of the OPP, which is aimed not only at methodological but also at systematic subject-specific training of future specialists, received positive feedback. Colleagues once again note that the certificate programs offered to students are relevant and in demand.

The Department of Biology, Human Health and Physical Rehabilitation is sincerely grateful to stakeholders for their cooperation and constructive advice, which help improve the quality of training of education seekers.
