Third-year students majoring in 231 “Social Work” (educational and professional programs “Social Work and Practical Psychology” and “Social Work and Social Pedagogy”) have successfully completed their practical training in non-governmental organizations.

The final assessment was conducted in the format of presentations and experience sharing. This approach not only allowed students to present the results of their work but also fostered deeper reflection, generalization of acquired knowledge, and the development of analytical thinking.

The aim of the practice is to develop professional competencies and personal qualities of future specialists through direct involvement in the activities of civil society organizations. Particular attention was paid to studying the processes of planning, organizing, and delivering social services for various target groups. This enabled students to better understand the specifics of professional activity in the field of social work and to experience its practical dimension.

In the context of contemporary Ukrainian society, cooperation with non-governmental organizations and charitable foundations has become especially relevant. Future social workers must be prepared to work with vulnerable population groups, particularly those affected by the war. Therefore, practical experience in this environment is a crucial stage of professional development.

Practical training in non-governmental organizations is an integral component of the preparation of future social workers, as it ensures the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, contributes to the formation of professional identity, and develops readiness to work in the context of modern social challenges.

This practice is implemented within the educational and professional programs “Social Work and Practical Psychology” and “Social Work and Social Pedagogy” and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
