Guest Lecture by Khrystyna Khimenes Held for Students of the Faculty of Physical Education

On March 20, 2026, a guest lecture was held for students majoring in Secondary Education (Physical Education) and Physical Culture and Sports. The lecture was delivered by Khrystyna Robertivna Khimenes, Doctor of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Professor at the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture.

The topic of the lecture, “Specific Factors in the Development of Competition Systems in Professional Team Sports”, aroused considerable interest among the students, as it addressed current issues related to the functioning and development of modern professional sports, the organization of competition systems, and the influence of various factors on their effectiveness and performance.

During the lecture, Professor Khimenes thoroughly highlighted the peculiarities of building competition systems in team sports, focusing on the organizational, economic, social, and sports-pedagogical aspects of their development. The students had the opportunity not only to deepen their knowledge of the topic but also to engage in professional discussion, ask questions, and receive expert answers from a distinguished scholar and practitioner.

The lecture was delivered within the educational component “Professional Mastery of a Specialist in Physical Culture and Sports”, becoming an important part of the professional training of future specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.
