From March 11 to 26, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at BDPU hosted the online project “Coffee Time: Coffee with a Professor,” organized by the student government. This initiative aimed to give students the opportunity to get to know the life and professional experiences of faculty members in a warm and cozy atmosphere, and to learn many new and useful things from each invited guest.

During the voting, which took place from February 16 to 28, students selected faculty members from various departments of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities whom they would like to meet during the online sessions.

To get to know the faculty members better, students were invited to play a game of “Truth or Fiction” at each event, in which they had to guess 10 different facts about the guest’s life and share their thoughts in the Zoom chat. After the entertainment portion concluded, everyone had the opportunity to ask questions or share their wishes with the project’s main participants.

Extracurricular meetings of such an informal and relaxed nature directly contribute to the development of friendly relationships within the virtual walls and classrooms of the university.

We sincerely thank all the faculty members of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities who agreed to participate in the project and share their professional experience, childhood memories, and significant life events. We also want to express our gratitude to those caring students who chose and invited their favorite professors for a cup of aromatic coffee.

See you soon!
