Orientation conferences for third-year students of the FDSSO

On the eve of entering the pedagogical (industrial) practice for 3rd-year students of the specialty “Special Education” of the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education, senior lecturers of the Department of Applied Psychology and Speech Therapy Daryna Lytyvychenko and Inna Samoylenko held an orientation conference.

Full-time and part-time students participated in the event. During the meeting, the goal, objectives and features of the organization of the practice were outlined, as well as the requirements for completing practical tasks and preparing reporting documentation.

The event united full-time and part-time students and became an important stage of preparation for real professional activity. Future speech therapists received a clear idea of ​​the tasks of the practice, the features of conducting diagnostic work and expected results.

Also, the senior lecturer of the Department of Applied Psychology and Speech Therapy, Daryna Lytyvychenko, held a meeting with applicants for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the group с301-з, who are starting their practice as psychologists. Special attention was paid to the issues of organizing psychological practice, the specifics of diagnostic and consulting activities, compliance with professional ethics and the responsibility of a specialist.

The orientation conferences became not only a source of important information, but also a motivational start, which helped applicants confidently begin a new stage of their studies and professional development.
