Within the framework of the all-ukrainian festival of science at the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University (May 11–23, 2026), and with the support of the Competence Center for Inclusive Education of BSPU, the Scientific and Communication Digest «PROAccessibility» (May 18–22, 2026) is currently taking place.

Today, we invite you to watch a series of educational and informative videos «Accessibility Stories that Inspire» created by the NGO «Bezbariernist» («Barrier-Free»). These stories highlight people, initiatives, and spaces that are transforming Ukrainian society, education, and science, making them more open, inclusive, and accessible for everyone.

  • «The Third After Midnight» Museum ‑ the story of a unique museum in complete darkness, where tours are guided by visually impaired guides who help visitors experience the surrounding world in a completely new way.
  • «InvaFishky» ‑ a project by Vitalii and Uliana Pcholkin that presents practical solutions and adaptive devices for people with spinal cord injuries, aimed at supporting independence in everyday life.
  • «Good Bread from Good People» ‑ an example of inclusive social entrepreneurship where people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to work, grow, and become part of a professional community.
  • «Ground-Level Crossings» ‑ a video about the importance of barrier-free urban infrastructure and active civic engagement in creating comfortable public spaces for everyone.
  • «Teatralna» ‑ the story of a cultural space that united older adults by transforming an ordinary underground passage into a place for meetings, dancing, and live communication.

Watching these videos encourages reflection on the values of inclusion, equal opportunities, humanity, and social responsibility.

We invite you to watch the videos and complete a reflective survey after reviewing the materials.
