Partnership Development: A Guest Lecture for Students of Specialty A5 Vocational Education at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University

On October 27, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Viktoriia Zhyhir, as part of cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Transport of the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, delivered a guest lecture titled “Economics of Vocational Education” for bachelor’s students majoring in A5.33 Vocational Education (Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics) and A5.38 Vocational Education (Transport).

According to the lecture plan, the following issues were addressed: the concept of education economics; supply and demand for educational services; and funding of the educational system.

The lecture gradually evolved into a lively dialogue. The students showed particular interest and engaged in an active discussion regarding controversial issues related to modern sources of educational funding and the balance between supply and demand in the market for educational services. The future professionals not only listened attentively but also asked questions and expressed their own views.
